Mike Monello

20 years ago, creative director and filmmaker Mike Monello produced the legendary found footage horror film The Blair Witch Project. In the process of launching it, he changed the nature of film marketing and, arguably, changed the way audiences interact with stories. Later, he founded the agency Campfire, where he has done experiential projects for clients like HBO, Amazon, and Verizon to name a few. We talk to Mike about how to get clients to invest in never-been-done-before ideas and the evolution of branded entertainment.
